Golf: Close to championship 18-hole par 72 golf at the Cozumel Country Club. The setting is gorgeous, with the championship 18-hole golf course carefully carved out of the Mayan jungles, and close to the turquoise waters and luxurious beaches of the Caribbean. Designed by the Jack Nicklaus Design Group, it's a real environmental showcase in golf. Four sets of tees allow golfers at all levels to have an enjoyable outing. There are also other excellent courses in the Cancun and Playacar areas.
Fishing: Cozumel Island offers some of the best fishing anywhere - several fishing excursions are available. Tours differ depending on what you want to catch. Excursions include fishing equipment, tackle, bait, snacks, refreshments, and pick up and drop off.
Shopping: There is a small gift shop onsite at the hotel. Shopping is the largest industry on Cozumel with three main shopping areas: along the waterfront in downtown Cozumel, the crafts market behind the town plaza, and in the cruise ship passenger terminal on the south end of town. There are also several shops in and around San Miguel. Shoppers will find duty-free shops, Mexican handicrafts, black coral products, and more. You will find things as diverse as diamonds, camera and photo equipment, beachwear, high-quality name brand sunglasses, and art studios.

Exploration and Sightseeing: The Mayan ruins and exploration opportunities and site seeing venues in this region are many and offer vacationers several options: San Gervacio is Cozumel's largest Mayan ruin; El Cedral is the oldest settlement in Cozumel; Xcaret with its underground rivers, diving, snorkeling, and coral reefs; the natural aquariums at Xel-Ha; the ancient Mayan port of Tulum containing many curious buildings; the Sain Ka'an Biosphere Reserve; the villages and cities of Puerto Morelos, San Miguel, Playa del Carmen, and Cancun. These are just some of the many places you can visit.
Diving and Snorkeling: One of the nice things about Cozumel diving is that it's easily accessible. The coastal waters of Cozumel have superb visibility, and the seafloor is full of colorful coral and many species of marine life. Dive masters allow you and other scuba divers to choose your reef, depending on your experience level. Novices will enjoy Paradise Reef for the many shallow patch reefs, large brain coral, sea fans and sponges. Intermediate divers may try Palancar Caves or Columbia Wall and encounter big grouper, playful green moray eels, eagle rays, and turtles. For the very experienced, Maracaibo Deep and Barracuda Reef are riveting, where giant orange elephant ear sponges, black coral, large schools of fish, turtles, rays, and even hammerhead sharks may be spotted. Snorkeling in Chankanaab is a must.
